In Jamaica Farewell Debra Ehrhardt tells her true
life story of escape from Jamaica during the Manley era for a chance to
start over in America; running from the law, from her drunk father and
from a life of dead ends. Come experience a slice of Debra’s life
from the big stage. Speaking of big stages... Jamaica Farewell has been
optioned by Hollywood producer Rita Wilson-Hanks (My Big Fat Greek
Wedding) to be made into a feature film. Part proceeds from Jamaica
Farewell will be donated to Bridges to Jamaica which is running a
“Back to School Campaign” providing knapsacks and other
items to under privileged children in Jamaica, and United Achievers, a
community services organization serving the black community.
