First Fridays is an exciting networking event that
occurs on the first Friday of every month. The atmosphere at the event
is laid back and fun, attracting a variety of entrepreneurs,
professionals, and organizations. Each month, presentations from a
number of businesses, professionals and organizations are given to
provide valuable information on a variety of products, services, and
events. Past presenters have included Denham Jolly, CEO of Milestone
Communications, MP Jean Augustine the Chairman & CEO of the
Caribbean Cultural Committee, the National Association of Urban
Bankers, Canada Trust, Actor & Director Clarke Johnson and a wide
range of local and International businesses, organizations and
entrepreneurs. Vendor booths and a display area for brochures,
businesses cards, flyers, and other information are also available.
First Fridays in Toronto was founded in 1994. It is one of over 30
First Fridays that occur on the first Friday of every month throughout
North America in cities like Montreal, Chicago, Los Angeles, Washington
D.C., and New York, to name a few.
